Math for Omaha Poker

Unless otherwise notes, these refer to full-table play

 

Preflop, chances you will be dealt a given 2-card couple like A2xx is ~ 6.4%

Preflop, chances you will be dealt a given 3-card couple like A23x is ~ 1%

If you have a given 2-card couple like A2, chances another A2 is out ~36%

     

If you have A3, chances an A2 is out ~52%

If you have A3, chances no one else has A2 or A3 is ~30%

 

If you have A4, chances an A2/A3/23 is out is ~86%

 

If you have Kxs, chances Axs is out is ~36%

 

Getting Flops

 

If you have A2, chances you get a made low are ~7%. 

If you have A2, chances you get a low draw are ~37%

 

If you have 23, chances you get an A and another low card on flop is ~13%

If you have A3, chances you get a 2 and another low card on flop is ~13%

If you have A4, chances you get a 2 and 3 on flop is ~3.8%

 

If you have A2 with a 34K flop, chances you’ll be counterfeited are ~25.2%

 

If flop is 23T, and you have TTJQ, chances of low ~78.8%

If flop is 23T, and you have TT67, chances of low ~74.4%

If flop is 23T, and you have A456, chances of low ~72%
